Fifth grade students tried an experimental drawing technique of using torn folders and chalk to replicate the Aurora Borealis. Next, they used paper to add an arctic collage landscape. We finished by learning how to seal chalk to paper. An important technique for future artworks. 

Scientists have predicted that 2024/2025 will have increased solar activity and storms. Heightened solar activity often leads to more significant and frequent displays of the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. This means you might see the Northern Lights in New England.
