:: Fitz Henry Lane inspired marine art ::

We studied local artist Fitz Henry Lane inspired by the materials from the Cape Ann Museum collection. Students studied and discussed his Luminist artwork and seascapes. We recognized the places that he painted in the 1800s as places we frequent today. Next, students designed their own marine art inspired like Lane by sailboats and lighthouses.
