Fish Printing with 3rd & 4th grade

After watching a slideshow about the history of fish printing in Japan, each student printed a rubber fish or sea creature of their choice and painted a background.  They made design choices with their brushstrokes, color mixing underwater colors, composition, and discussed contrasting colors. It was neat to see how everyone put together their underwater artworks!
