<> Dinosaurs <>

Drawn & Painted by 2nd grade using Fine Art Techniques

Second grade students choose a dinosaur to become the focal point of their painting.  We discussed enlarging subjects to become the focus of a composition, how to position the paper and how to create a background that complimented their focal point.  When they drew the dinosaur, they worked from drawing the large shapes down to the details.  Like a fine artist, they used a variety of brush sizes and shapes to complete their paintings.  I love these colorful artworks!
