<<>> Swimming into Summer with Mrs. Adamik's 2nd grade <<>>

After sketching while listening to a book based on the The Great Wave off Kanagawa, second grade students created colorful waves with chalk. In the next class, we discussed perspective and reexamined  the fish drawings in the book. Trying different perspectives, each students sketched a fish and used metallic sharpie to outline. To finish the mixed media artwork, the fish were cut out and glued to the wave.
