Kindergarten
Art Classes:
During
the first few weeks of school, the students practiced and showed me their
drawing, tracing, cutting, pasting, painting, and coloring skills. They made a picture
of their families and constructed a 2D paper house. At the end of September, Kindergarten
students finished handprint and name signs for their Art portfolios that will
go home during Open House in March. Some of the handprint art is on display in
the Cutler Gallery.
During
October, we will be focusing on lessons with themes from Fall, study different types
of lines and shapes with an art lesson from Piet Mondrian. Currently, they are working on mosaic owls and
pumpkins.
